My name is Phillip Hellewell. I enjoy anything that has to do with linux, hacking (white hat), programming, or in any other ways exploring new and wonderful things about computers.
I was born and raised in Idaho. There I gained an interest in computers at an early age of 4 with our new PCjr. I served a mission for my church in Barcelona, Venezuela, where I spent most of my time in the orient and close to Brazil. I got married in December of 2000 to a beautiful woman named Tammy from Cache Valley, Utah.
I received a master's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2007. You can read about my thesis paper here.
We had a baby girl in October 2007. Her name is Anna. We had a baby boy, Wesley, in September 2009. We added another boy, Alex, in December 2012. Here is a nice picture of our family.
